Eligibility Criteria:
- Editors, previous editors, editorial staff, editorial assistants, and reviewers of peer-reviewed medical and health-related journals.
- Individuals working in any branch of health-related scientific and technology communication in the Philippines.
- Individuals holding positions such as Editor-In-Chief, Deputy, Associate, Assistant, Supplement, and Managing Editors, as well as other Editorial Staff, Reviewers, Librarians, Scientists, and Technologists.
- Eligible individuals are encouraged to fill out the form to apply for individual membership.
Membership types fall under the following:
1. Organization/Journal Membership – (fee: 1000 pesos/year)
Philippine peer-reviewed medical and health-related journals, scientific publications or publishing bodies (associations, societies, academies, and publishing houses), libraries and librarian organizations, and related companies or organizations are eligible for organization membership. Designated representatives shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of a regular member except the rights to vote and to hold office.
2. Individuals Membership (2 categories) – (fee: 500 pesos/year)
Regular: and previous editors-in-chief, deputy, associate, assistant, supplement and managing editors, and other editorial staff of peer-reviewed medical and health-related journals; or those working in an editorial capacity in any branch of health-related scientific or technical communication in the Philippines.
Associate: Reviewers of peer-reviewed medical and health-related journals and those working in any branch of health-related scientific and technology communication in the Philippines in other capacities as librarians or scientists and technologists are eligible. Associate members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of a regular member except the rights to vote and to hold office.
